I would be beside myself seeing adorable Dumbo flying up there! 😍 I got so excited finally seeing Tinkerbell flying over the sky in Disneyland when I visited in 2017. And how did I not know she was at Disneyland Paris at some point?! Amazing!

I think I read somewhere that Mary Poppins once flew over the castle, but her appearances were discontinued out of fear little boys were looking up her dress.

Nemo actually flew again just last year cause they brought the show back for the summer with the main street electrical parade. Also suprised you didn't mention that Mary Poppins once flew by the castle. Also doubt Tink won't ever be back to flying too many people she her as the icon for it.

Hey Dan, I love your videos. My favorite flying character is Nemo from the Disneyland Forever show. I took a closer look at photos and it seemed to be the same puppet model as the one from Finding Nemo the Musical -> Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Great video. Disneyland forever actually played for a limited time last year and the nemo looked great! I was there on opening day and you are right, it's such an insane show!

This wasn't a castle flier and wasn't at Disneyland but, at the opening of Galaxy Edge in WDW, Disney flew a Boeing-designed X-wing drone. I think they were supposed to be used more regularly, but it ended up too complicated.

Apparently I heard the reason why the Blue Fairy in Wondrous Journeys is heavily suited up and has facemask is to protect the CM's skin because the lighting is so strong that close it can damage skin

Apparently for the "Magical!" show they were supposed to have Mary Poppins as well as Dumbo and Tink but they removed it last second.

Great video! New subscriber here and love your fun energy! One minor note is the ‘new’ Tink flight system debuted in 2005 for Disneyland’s 50th anniversary Remember Dreams Come True firework show. She would fly a couple different times during the show (no character changes.)

Speaking of Disney magic. Did anyone here ever saw my handheld Mickey or UP House balloon with pixie lights wrapped around them? Or even the little green alien men popcorn container lit up? I’ve been doing this since 2017. However, in 2020 I was told by Disney security to stop bringing in balloons with light decorations. -The Disneyland Neighbor

About the thumbnail: The Tinkerbell mask is cute and looks somewhat like her, but that Blue Fairy mask YIKES! Why can’t they ever get her face right? She looks so off and terrible! They probably didn’t care too much because she was so far away so you can’t really see her, but geesh with today’s technology they can do so much better than that to make the face more accurate! To be honest, she should of been a face flying character like the Tinkerbell at Disney World.

Don;'t forget that in 1966 Mary Poppins flew over the Castle at Disneyland. It was a bit of a dud though. She was a mannequin, and , compared to the live aerialist Tinker Bell, she seemed extremely lifeless.

Wasn't there a flying spaceman in Disneyland's Tomorrowland and a Rocketeer at the old Disney-MGM Studios? A friend who worked at Disneyland in the 80's said that there was a Mary Poppins that flew up the line. The lights had to be cut right before she hit the Matterhorn.
