Place of dreams for kids- younger kids, annoying for older kids. Its a regular nightmare for teens & like a nightmare while you're already in hell for adults

You hit the nail on the head my friend. I took my four children there. I stood in line for two hours with my oldest son on my shoulders. Just to ride a ride that went around in a circle. It took all of five minutes from beginning to ending.

Years ago we went to Disney World. We finished up for the day and I found myself on a Disney bus back to Fort Wilderness at 11PM. I had a revelation in that moment: "If I went to work today, I would have been home six hours ago!". Recreation? Sure! Rest and Relaxation? You'd get more of either working on a road crew!

Every road crew I've ever seen has one shovel operator with two slow sign holders, with at least six guys standing there getting rest and relaxation.

Love Tom Papa... best delivery! I remember Disneyland being so much fun as a kid...but I also remember my aunt smacking the #@!& out me because I wondered off, and got separated from the family.. total torture for them I'm sure. Went like 15 years ago with my husband and we brought in pb&js for lunch because that is about the time of day when everyone realizes that it is not the happiest place on earth. .lol

I've been twice... In January, when it was drizzling. No one else there but my crew. We went on Space Mountain 3 times, easy as pie. Parked up close, had a ball - no one there but the employees and a few of us from Kansas, wearing wind breakers. If it rained, we went on the Pirates ride because it was underground. Came back out - barely drizzling. Hey - let's go on the flume! Worth it.

Maybe that's the tick, to go to Disneyland when it's not the best weather so that you can nab the best rides!!

Disney hobbos. Ha, ha. I had a lot of fun myself. But I had a hopper pass. I did stay in the two hour line for the tower ride. While two young strangers messed with my ears. But didn't care because I was scared of the ride. And yeah do it once because it is expensive. The small world was amazing and horrifying. Get that song stuck in your head

I lived out in California for a bit about 50 years ago. My family came out to visit and I took them to Disneyland and it was fun. Not anything like now.

@@omi_god I wasn't casting the net that wide to include racism, but getting some normality back into society is very much needed with all the craziness out there. So much of it is sheer nonsense and detrimental to society. If we disagree on certain things, that's okay. A healthy discussion is a good thing.
