Disneyland Paris | December 2023 | Part 4: Spins, screams, Meets and shows!

Hello everyone and welcome back to our new series!
From Monday 4th December to Friday 8th December 2023 we were in Disneyland Paris along with our friend Amy.
This vlog is from Wednesday 6th December 2023.
On this day we had much better weather so got up early to make it to the Walt Disney Studios park for the early access hour and headed straight to Crush's Coaster as we'd never managed to get on it before due to either closures or really long queues - and we loved it!
We followed this with a short queue line on Spider-Man W.E.B Adventure as the park was still quiet.
Amy then convinced Dan to finally ride Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop with her - he has a fear of heights and drop rides make him feel sick but he did it ... and didn't scream TOO much!
Needing something quieter to relax him and calm him down, we joined the short queue for Ratatouille: The Adventure then checked out the Chez Marianne shop before our dining reservation in Bistrot Chez Remy.
After lunch we swapped to the main park and queued up to for a Chip and Dale Character Meet - and it was well worth the wait! Definitely the best interaction with the Chipmunks we've ever had in any Disney park!
We did hope to then Meet Stitch but his queue line had been closed earlier than advertised so we missed out and ended up trying to find our way through Alice's Curious Labyrinth then up the tower of the Queen of Heart's castle!
After some tasty ice cream from the March Hare's Refreshment counter by the maze, we paid for passes to get on to Big Thunder Mountain and avoid the long walk-up queue line - BTM is easily one of our favourite rides for all three of us!
We returned to our hotel room for a rest and to get jackets as it had turned cold then went back to Disneyland Park ready for 'Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade' ( for more footage of this parade and its light show, please see our previous video of the parade, released on Christmas Eve 2023)
We then got a few more rides in during the evening before watching the 'Disney Dreams Nighttime Extravaganza' light and projection show on the castle, ending the night in the Skyline Bar in Hotel New York: The Art of Marvel before bed!

Hey Bob and Dan 🤗 I’m definitely more of a fan of the fireworks than projections. I’m not a fan of kids on shoulders - it’s bad enough having to watch things through peoples phones 🙈 I know you didn’t comment on that but I spotted one of them tight in your view of the castle 😡 That interaction with Chip and Dale was great, I do love character interactions and those two are always fun ☺️ Dan did well on that parachute things - my stomach would be going up and down 🤢 I just want to be back in Disney 😩 I hope you both have a lovely weekend ♥️ xxx

Good evening Lee! Yes we're having a nice quiet weekend thank you, I hope yours is going well too? Yes it's so annoying when you get people with kids on their shoulders or holding their mobile phones etc up right in front of you! We usually try and move to the side of them but there's not always space to. We hold our cameras and phones in front of our chests or faces so they don't get in other people's way and our friends with kids hold them in their arms so they aren't too high, but we'd never complain to people in the parks ... Not brave enough, for a start, LOL. Awww yes, Chip and Dale are great characters to meet, always so cheeky and fun! Dan was very brave to go up on the ride wasn't he, given his fear of heights and drop rides! We want to be back in Disney too - this already feels like it was months ago, not weeks! Xx

Happy New Year Dena, thank you very much! We've reserved a room in WDW as a backup plan but hoping this will be the year we go to Disneyland California and Disney's Aulani resort in Hawaii. Almost certainly returning to Disneyland Paris too to make use of the Annual Pass we bought last month 😊
