Hello everyone and welcome back to our new series!
From Monday 4th December to Friday 8th December 2023 we were in Disneyland Paris along with our friend Amy.
This vlog is from Thursday 7th December 2023.
This was our last full day in the parks and started slower than planned. Whilst Amy got out early for the extra Magic hour that guests staying on property have, due to Dan being worn out from the day before, he and I stayed in our room and met up with Amy later in the morning once the parks had opened to everyone else.
Once we were all together again we headed to Frontier Land to see if Pueblo's Outpost was open at last, a pin and pin-trading store we'd seen in other channel's vlogs, but unfortunately it wasn't. We later found out from a Cast Member nearby that it only opens at weekends.
Whilst in the area we saw a short queue for a Meet & Greet with Cowgirl Minnie Mouse so joined it for our first character meet of the day. We then went into Cowboy Cookout Barbecue for a meaty brunch that had mixed reviews from the three of us.
After eating we headed over to Fantasy Land to try again to meet Stitch - but for the second day in a row we had no luck as again the queue was closed off earlier than advertised.
We spotted a short queue to meet The Queen of Hearts which turned out to be one of our favourite Meet & Greets as she was so sassy, pushing Amy out of the way to get between us boys then shoving us away for Amy's turn! And having her 'boop' my nose was unexpectedly cute and funny to us!
After The Queen of Hearts we went on the Storybook Boats ( Le Pays des Contes de Fees) - a ride that we find cute and relaxing but definitely need a make over as some areas of it are very grimy now (we're looking at you, Peter and the wolf!) then we joined a queue to meet Eeyore and Tigger before squeezing into the small seats on Casey Junior (le Petit Train du Cirque) to whiz round the tracks and wave at people in the Storybook Boats below!
Afterwards we filled some time by checking out a few of the shops - Sir Mickey's Boutique, Le Boutique du Chateau (the Christmas shop in the castle) and Merlin l'Enchanteur (the crystal and glass shop in the castle) before descending to the cave under Sleeping Beauty Castle to see Merlin's dragon there, one of the best animatronics in Disneyland Paris!
After momentarily losing Amy completely we headed back to our hotel to rest a few hours before our evening meal. Unfortunately Amy felt really ill by this point so stayed in the room the rest of the night while Dan and I went to our dining reservation at Beaver Creek in The Sequoia Lodge.
Once we'd finished there we had a look around the shop there, Northwest Passage, then went over to Newport Bay Club resort to look around their shop, Bay Boutique, where Dan finally found a Stitch shoulder pal plush we'd been searching for for a while. Happy Pup!
We finished off the night by checking out the LEGO store in Disney Village and spending way too much money in the art and figurine store, The Disney Gallery, before grabbing hot drinks and returning to Amy in our room to sign off!
