Hi Everyone:
Today we're taking a detailed look at everything the Paradise Pier Hotel has to offer at the Disneyland Resort.
During our recent stay, we enjoyed the cute decor in the rooms. As a matter of fact, I really want one of those Mickey lamps and the Luxor Ball pillow. They're soooo cute!
We take a look at the restaurants, pool and enjoy the views of California Adventure and World of Color.
So come along and take a look at this cute hotel at the Disneyland Resort.

Fun 🤩 Fact: in 2018 Paradise Pier at Disney California Adventure has been transformed into Pixar Pier while the other half of the former Paradise Pier is left unchanged and now called Paradise Gardens Park, with the hotel 🏨 overlooking the latter. Although there was no longer a land called Paradise Pier, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel retained its name and decor, then on April 28, 2022 the Disney Parks Blog shared the news 🗞️ that Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel would be transformed into the Pixar Place Hotel. Pixar iconography would replace the California surf 🏄‍♀️ iconography, do you like 👍 my fun 🤩 fact? 😁😁😁

Guess what The Mouse Scout? Pixar Place Hotel which replaces Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel has just recently opened earlier back on January 30,

That's awesome that there is a lifeguard at the pool. Also, thanks for the tips on the exit to get to the park.

Yeah, Disney has lifeguards at all their pools. The first time I stayed there, I didn't know to exit out the back and it is very confusing.

Another question 🙋‍♀️ for you please 🙏, are all the rooms and suites in Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel gonna be remodeled into Pixar theme since the hotel 🏨 is being rethemed and reimagined into the new Pixar Place Hotel?

They recently released new concept art for the lobby, pool and a few other areas, however nothing for the rooms. It’s a good bet that they will redecorate the rooms to fit with the new theme of the hotel and refresh everything. But nothing concrete yet. It’s supposed to be complete by the end of the year and I really look forward to seeing what they do. Thanks so much Elias!

I went to that hotel with my brother and his girlfriend a year ago. It was our first Disneyland vacation. It was also a birthday present for my 30th birthday.🙂🥳🎊🎉🎁🎈🎂

I haven’t heard why from Disney. However, I can tell you that it was a bit outdated and for the prices they were charging, I didn’t feel it was worth it. So, I think that as long as they were refurbishing it, they wanted to put a stronger Intellectual property presence in the hotel and since it was facing Pixar Pier, it was a good fit. Line of sight is important to Disney. But in a nutshell, it really needed some attention, repair and updating. 😃

Hi Elias: I think the retheming is a great move on Disney's part. You can see the hotel from Pixar Pier in California Adventure and it will tie in with the park. Also, it really needed some love and I look forward to the hotel looking fresh and updated. Thanks so much!

Yup whiskey will cure what ails you 😉 although i adore Margaritas and find it difficult to order any other drink in it's place.. The two menu items I'm guaranteed to get if they're on the menu..Eggs Benedict and Margaritas! Now there's a match made in heaven! 😋

Forgot the heart of the hotel which is the bell service desk. No bellman no bags to your room , no bell clerks no assistance with your items bough from the park, food delivered, mail or other personal items.

To be honest, there are many other hotels off property that I would rather stay at than Paradise Pier. If you can't stay at DLH or GCH, just go ahead and stay at another hotel in the Anaheim area and you can use the ART to get to the resort. Thanks so much for commenting.

I've purchased park tickets for this weekend and a hotel reservation for the same night. Can I keep my car in the same spot of the parking location used with my parking voucher or will I need to move my car closer to the hotel reaching check in time? Will that add additional parking costs moving my car there?

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot leave your car overnight at Mickey and Friends, Pixar Pals, or Toy Story parking lots overnight. You'll have to park it at the hotel. They do have self-parking, but yes, that will cost $25 per night. If possible, see if you can just get your money back for the voucher you got at Guest Services and just park at the hotel. Because tram service is not running right now, you're going to have to walk anyway, so it might as well just be from the hotel. You'll walk to Downtown Disney, then through DD to the parks. Hope this helps!

No, there are no microwaves in the rooms unfortunately. However, there is one in the lobby you can use.

Hi I was just wondering for the hotel can you pay in cash or only card and also do you have to make a reservation online or can you get a room when you get there in person or is it only online

They require a credit card to put on file when you check in. If you use a debit card when you arrive, they will charge a couple of hundred on the card immediately to see if it goes through. Then, at the end of your stay, you can go to the front desk and use a different method of payment for any incidentals. For booking, you usually have to have a reservation either made online or by phone. The Disneyland hotels fill up fast and it's rare you can get in without a reservations (unless they're happens to be a cancellation). If you book online, you can use Disney gift cards, PayPal or credit cards to pay. So, technically, you could purchase Disney gift cards with cash and use those. Be sure to check out the Disneyland website for up-to-date information on payment methods. Hope this helps!

Depends on what time of year you want to go. Be sure to check out Disneyland.com and choose "Places to Stay" and play around with the dates to see what the pricing is. But it's worth checking out!

Yes, there is the Anaheim Resort Transportation "ART" buses. Go to RideART.org to get information. They will drop off by the front gate. I've been meaning to do a video on this. Will try to do soon. Thanks for the question! Hope you have a wonderful trip.

This hotel needs to be torn down, and a Boardwalk style hotel as found at Walt Disney World needs to be built, complete with lake. They need to do this instead of this idiotic idea to build random attractions all around the hotels. Bob Chapek is a bad throwback to the days of Eisner.

It would be fun to have a Boardwalk or Beach Club style hotel at Disneyland. They've done their best with the Paradise Pier hotel, but it does lack the magic of many other Disney hotels, I agree.
