Disneyland Sweathearts Night 2022 Love Themed Food, Fireworkds, and Disney Characters
I Attended the first day of the 2022 Sweethearts Night and Disneyland and it did not disappoint. I am going give you some tips and tricks to make the most of your experience.
The First day of Sweethearts Night 2022 started on Feb 1. The park is open at 5pm for anyone attenting this special disney after dark event. make sure you get there early pay for parking when you purchase your ticket. From the parking lot to the main entrance is a long walk and the lines are going to be long so if you want to maximize you time i suggest getting there at 4pm.
This Event kicks off disneyland valentines day 2022. There are alot of love themed foods, shows and events when you enter you will receive a lanyard with heart of mickey and minnie. you dont have to wear this around the park you bracelet is gonna be your pass and they start checking around 730 pm.
The Main Attractions Are:
Sweethearts nite fireworks at 930 pm. make sure you find a good spot well in advance the show is amazing. As many know disney fireworks never disappoint.
Dapper Dans - starting at 845 and show is every hour. don't miss this as well. great performances everyone is dancing along to the music. it was a great time. This show is on main street you will hear the music and people dancing.
Moonlight Jazz Cruise- The Cruise goes on all night. A Jazz group is sitting in the front of the boat go downstairs if you want front show view. the cruise is fun music is great highly recommend it.
DJ and Ukulele Duo- In Tomorrowland there is a dj and dance floor set up for you to get youre boogie on. I missed the ukulelle duo so cant speak on it.
Disneyland Valentines Food ( What to eat at disneyland )
Everyone is going to be at New Orleans Square right before 8pm. if you are a disneyland foodies this is where you should be.
Royal Street Veranda - Banana Foster Fritters
Cafe Orleans - 3 course meal
French Market Restuarant - heart shaped beef short ribs / heart shaped butter cookie
Mint Julep Bar - white chocolate powdered heart shaped beignets / berry compote dipping sauce ( This was the longest line of all food attractions)
FantasyLand
Red Rose Taverne - Glowing strawberry sweetheart tea ( this was expensive but tastes great)
The Best Food at disneyland for Sweethearts Nite was heart shaped beignet and the glowing strawberry.
The Rides-
Since it was special event alot of the rides had much shorter lines. we spent some time at disneyland star wars galaxy's edge walking around and looking at all the attractions. There were a few rides that were down that we didn't get to ride but for the most part most rides were no more than 15 minute wait. this was the first trip to disneyland 2022 and hopefully not the last. Sweethearts nite was a success we got there around 430pm and left at midnight .
