Went 2 years ago and stayed at Coco’s hotel. Amazing place to stay. All inclusive! 2 beaches. The catamarans left from our resort one day. Jolly harbor is nice and quiet. If you want constant party vibe stay up north with all the sandals tourists and yocals. We are going back in about 5 weeks again to stay in jolly harbor.

Excellent guide. I like the “local” feel of the places recommended and showing the Farmers Market. And finally a Big Island tour that mentions Tex Drive-in on the Hilo side! Out of all the reviews I’ve watched, this is the best. Great job. Tex Drive-in is the bomb. Excellent food. ❤❤❤

Also, showed POV of Waipieo Valley and Beach which is nice to see bc it's closed to tourists now as of 2024 - too much traffic, damage, trash, etc. We're planning our first trip and this was really helpful. Very informative, scenic / pretty, friendly and enjoyable video. 👍🤗

I hate these sensationalized thumbnails like Hawaii is just beaches and rainbows. Downtown Hilo is GHETTO. I mean not like dangerous during day on main path, but, just trashy and run down. And WET ALWAYS. Don’t try to move here just to be in Hawaii. It’s cheaper for a reason. I’d say just as many homeless as Oahu per capita. Each street has homeless. They mostly keep and talk to themselves.

People are driving all over over the grass and destroying fragile landscape. Past tracks now cover pretty much all the way to the unique green sand beach..😢😢.😢😢😢

FYI the valley is now closed for this type of adventure for tourists even hiking. It's only open to Big Island residents, county-permitted tour company operators and those seeking to practice Native Hawaiian traditional or customary rights.

Akaka falls far out of Hilo, long walk. This guy is not telling you anything about how far you have to travel to see all these places, from Kona to South Point 66 miles.

2 steps, hard to get in, many rocks, be careful.

you can't get to green sands without 4 wheel drive or walk a long distance and leave your car for the rip off people.
