Simple understanding is that adding barrier flag makes the concurrent queue synchronous without blocking the calling thread

The concept is correct; however, use a serial queue instead of a concurrent queue to achieve the same result.Let me know if i'm wrong. serialQueue.async{ self.book(ticket: ticket) }
