The police here have taken drastic measures with scammers, and they raid various areas just after a few anonymous tips. Because of this, scammers keep a low profile, and I take delight in reporting anyone I come across to the authorities. You can send any tips to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nigeria. They have a verified Instagram account and emails. Again, you are best; thank you for what you do.

Gosh I remember reading the novel 419 about these activities. The author stated that income from email scams was OFFICIALLY listed as Nigeria’s third largest income. I guess they’ve now moved on to more sophisticated methods too.

incredibly, someone contacted me on facebook from the exact same location in SA with the exact same scam of giving me a large donation. I played along with it for 45 minutes of talking to him on FB and at the very end told him I knew it was a scam and purposely wasted his time, all he said was "well done" and out a thumbs up. I reported his fake account (seemed like a hacked account) and he got deactivated lol.

Jim Browning's videos are fascinating. It's good to see those evil scammers being torn apart. There is still some honesty on the internet with people like Jim around. A good speaker too, a treat to listen to!

I wonder if using software to change your voice to that of an older person or a female would give you even more success as scammers would be less likely to suspect you of being a scam-baiter.

These are fantastic videos, all of them. I learend so much by watching your videos, thank you for doing this. It sounds like a full-time job, and I think it is very nice of you to try to get in touch with the victims of these crooks (as you did in the other videos). It's disgusting what they are doing and it's even more disgusting that the authorities in these countries are so complacent about it and continue to do nothing to bring these criminals to justice. I only wish I saw your videos before I fell for a similar scam, I definitely wouldn't have victimized had I watched. Thank you for doing this, for taking time, and for exposing these crooks!

Great work Jim. What to know how to get rd of calls that ring automatically but there is no one on the line speaking. The number is attached to some charity mob, a scam i am sure but no one ever speaks. When doing the star 69 it comes up as not connected or a recorded message but no ability to contact them. These come on my land line random times some time three a day is there a way to block them. I am in Australia.. Great work on the scam baiting

I somehow was recommended your videos seemingly randomly a month or two ago, and from there discovered that some scam baiters (I knew scam baiters existed; have read 419eater.com over the years and have a few friends who have told me they have scam baited as a hobby) post their videos on KZfaq. I love what you all do - you are entertaining AND educational, and hopefully you all help prevent people from getting scammed. So three cheers to you and other scam baiter’s whose videos I have watched. As far as I am concerned, you are performing a public service. For some reason your voice reminds me of my grandfather, which may be a tad strange since my grandfather was from the United States, as I am, but something about the pitch of your voice maybe? Timbre? Not quite sure. Maybe he pronounced certain words in a UK way? Anyway I do find your voice very soothing. And I felt compelled to tell you so. :)
