@@AdamTheMan1993 That has nothing to do with it. There are good and bad VAs for everything. FFXIV had a lot of bad British VAs at the beginning and each got replaced.

@@Irraptured Actually they were all American in version 1 and ARR pretending to be British but everybody thought they were so bad they switched to British VAs for all characters from Heavensward onward

Everytime i hear the Warrior of Light talk i immediately go “shut up elidibus!” Anyways watching as solely a ffxiv fan and only playing a few other ff games, watching this leaves me with more questions than answers about this game lmao

@XannnaGG I mean, if we're talking about the FF1 WoL, no one really knows. You kinda start the game as the WoL, as is, with no backstory or explanation. That why most fans theorize that he just popped into existence at the start of the game.

@@XannnaGGWarrior of Light is pretty much the typical heroic protagonist. He doesnt have much of a backstory, he was just summoned to save the people from someone thats evil and wanted to spread darkness in the world, thats it. Its a simple fairytale story at that time back in FF1. Warrior of Light is simply, the hero of light who is trying to defeat the evil of darkness. Starting from FF2 and after, characters started to be more fleshed out.

It would have been easier for me to enjoy this game if 1' i was able to just go through the story without having to get points to press on and 2' the moogle shuts up during fights

The forced grind in this game is stupid beyond reproach. I still love the game with passion though indeed but forcing us to grind for COUNTLESS HOURS in another mode in order to progress through storymode is overstretched.

Well, it's the same kit, but better Her class is a sorceress. She has abilities similar to black mage but is still able to control all 6 elements, plus unaspected

I'm kind of upset that they re-used Onion Knight for FF3 when the game got a remake and created actual characters to be the protagonists :/

Actually the ones see at the end. Aren't the real ones. They are copies of the warriors made from crystals. The real ones got to go home. So no they are not being enslaved. Tests why materia was confused as to why they showed up. They were "Parting Gifts"

@@pokekid3924 I was under the impression that these guys are the real deal. But after they defeated the planesgorger, copies of them were made as parting gifts - the in world explanation as to why we as players can continue fighting in the arenas.

They all remember from the previous game, except Noctis since he’s new and doesnt know wth is going on lol. They are fighting their enemies. Their enemies are also scheming, and in which later a plot twist where the enemies are actually doing whats right and the heroes learned whats their true intentions and assisted.

While there is sadly a 0% chance we will get a character creator there is a pretty decent chance we might get Ardbert in the future given the success of Shadowbringers, and since the Derplander shares his design that's probably the closest thing to our WoL we are likely to get.

Y'Shtola is how you make a female character. She's smart, powerful (within reason), good natured, respectful and courteous! Not broody, bitchy and god hack overpowered!

Yes and yet all the ffxiv gives us about Y'shtola is needless suicides for pushed dramatic moments, using wrong spells for stupid misleadings and failed/poorly chosen basic shield skills just for making that banana face guy called zenos ''cool'' sigh... what a awesome character development she has in her main game...

@@operaticandroid459 what do you mean poorly chosen shield? Zenos was very powerful. Don't know if you forgot but at that same moment Zenos wiped the whole floor of Rhalgr's Reach with WoL (the cannonically most powerful hero in the lore) thus WoL's optional dialog of "I think I felt a knock on my pride." when Raubahn asked if he was okay. The WoL only won against him after he fought with his "able bodied allies"
