I just get training potions and clock tower potions and convert those to gems. Sometimes I get wall rings and convert those to gems as well.

Ressources are not worth it. You can farm those infintely. I spend my medals on things that save me time such as Lab or Pet Potions. Trainingpotion is also better than ressources, if you want them

If you attack frequently..then you dont need to use raid medals on resources.. research potions and ores are more value

True F2P farmers don't need the resources though, as a F2P TH16 I just get the research pots and glowy ore every week, and then I still have leftover medals for something else like f.a pet potion (although I stopped with those as I maxed all the pets I need already, and I'm 2 month ahead on pets compared to buildings)

When I was going for the 6th builder I would use builder base resources, now I never buy anything for the builder base. I only buy research potions, no pet potions bc I cannot farm enough DE quickly every 3 /4days (I have a life), maybe cc troops during CWL if I forget to request and need to attack but that's it. If I have medals left I buy ores.

Is research Potion really worth it because you will have your main army easily maxed after 1 or 2 months and after that the lab potions will only speed upgrades you dont need?

@@paulkober7349 the lab is usually the longer part to max, so if you don't wanna rush it you have to use research potions to speed it up a bit

Well going by value/gem is problematic because resources are ridiculously overpriced to make those 2000000x value packs in the store I guess it shifts with having 50 *****ing accounts it takes 4 minutes to farm 1 mil gold/elexir and is supposedly worth 500 gems each ? while buying ores pushes you 2 days of star bonus ahead right ? ( of course that means buying research potions first )

Bro comparing the items to their gem value is faulty in every way. Like they purposely over price materials in the shop because the game isn’t supposed to be pay to win. Also, you can’t farm ores nearly as fast as loot. There is efficiency and then there is maxing out efficiency. If you want to max out faster then you have to drop the gem purchasing efficiency and go for whatever is the most scarce.

Equipment gets you more loot no one has ever gemmed loot on purpose so personally I see the rate for all loot being for every 1 loot it would cost 0 gems.

I've already maxed out my hero equipment. Just pick your 2 equipment and stick to it. I have 2 maxed out per hero and the rest lv1. I understand we all want to try different strategies but having maxed out equipment makes a huge difference. Once you max it out, stock up on ores and only spend them when you are reaching your cap

Hey Galadon maybe you can calculate the ores in percentage of completion of all equipment value rather than gems which might get an inflated value from supercell, idk just a thought cause it might just be more accurate in my opinion

I only use raid medals on resources if I need it quickly for an upgrade, or if I want 25K dark elixir to boost the sneaky goblins. I can easily max out my storages multiple times in the three days I get the sneaky goblins. Otherwise, I use them for ore, potions, and wall rings. Farming ore sucks!

why would you buy from the shop 20% of your storage with 900 gems, when you can buy from the trader 100% of your storage with 1500 gems. It does not make any sense.
