Absolutely the best live performance I have ever seen in my entire life!! So powerful, emotional, epic! Hands down! I have watched it many many times, never gets old. His voice is so pure.

This is definitely one of the best cover versions of all time. They certainly made it their own. Even the writer, Paul Simon, commented that he did this song justice and probably added a few more dollars to his bank account. For context, I believe that you should listen to the original version, probably the studio version, to see how Disturbed changed it.

Hey girl. This song is so hypnotizing. The proof of this, is the reaction of the crowd in this video. If you notice, not one person in the crowd. Makes any kind of noice. Until a split second after the song ends. It takes the whole crowd that long to come out of it, and applaud. I truly enjoy your reaction videos. Because you're so sincere. Take care girl.

David(lead singer) had a cold at the time which made it more nasally which just enhanced his voice. He has such amazing vocals

To keep the record straight -- not a cold, BUT THE FLU, he almost didn't make it, piano player told him the only way it would happen, is if he sat down!! His temperature was in the 100's!!!! Also, Conan himself, later said that this was the only performance EVER on his show that every single employee stopped their duties and came to witness this performance --- truly amazing....

@donleonhart274 In the 100's? That can kill you! I had a temperature of 105 one time. I thought I was gonna die. Sweating beads perfusev and a migraine! Muscle aches too! I was bed ridden for almost a week.

Rumor has it Mr. Draiman was not feeling well that night (head cold, or allergy, or some such) and wasn't sure he should perform. He made the right choice.

He wasn't recovering from the Flu, he was still sick with the flu, stuffed up, congested and had a fever of 102°.. David is a BEAST and his voice is pure gold 🔥❤️‍🔥❤️

Simon & Garfunkel did original, but their studio version of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' is epic. Their 'Scarborough Fair' is also classic, as well as Sounds of Silence.

Hi when u first said live performance I was hoping the one were he had Myles Kennedy come up at a concert and sign with him. I will always prefer the original by Simon and Garfunkel, but I absolutely love this version. Arguably one of the best covers ever done. To think David Draiman was suffering from the flu during this live performance is mind boggling. He was furious the sound crew used auto tune for a brief second when they thought he needed their assistance.

This is a good version, but to get the best experience see the original version in black and white, not on this tv show. in this one he has cold/flu and it'd not as good :)

The first verse in the album version is a whispered voice though. I wouldnt doubt there's a bit of autotune on there in case he has a tough time, being sick but I don't notice it.

Draiman makes this song sound like the big boy version that match the lyrics instead of the original S&G bubble gum original. Kinda wierd how that happens being interpreted even better by a cover....least imo.
