if you are wondering what happened to your seeds they just stacked on top of each other and turned into 2 as you can see on the left side of the seed packet by the dots but when you put them in the storage unit they turn into only 1 seed again

Seeds are stack-able as mentioned by others. Each seed package can be stacked up to 10 seeds (this means you can use the package up to 10 times to plant seeds). Doing this will change the side of the package (take note on some dots on the side). Also, get a map and check it in a dark place (no light). You will see some faint question marks - these are the quest givers. Quest example: if someone asks for tomatosoup x3, this means the tomatoes needs to weight 3. use the scales to weight your products before slicing them..

same technique in cauldron. Have a pipe drip directly above the cauldron - plus a valve to shut it down afterwards.

I think the idea is that you turn tokens into individual packs of seeds, which spit out like 4 veggies, each of which can be turned into more seeds...

Hey Z1 the only thing that requires tokens is the "tractor" the watering can cost coins.

The quest system is based on amount finished according to Max. Basically the more of them you do, the bigger the rewards. Deeper quests want soups made out of token bought seeds. So I think the logic here is the first few quests give piddly tokens that are meant to buy the first bag of each token seed, then you grind up part of your harvest for more to avoid sinking more tokens in. Haven't played with the update yet myself, but could also be that soups/harvest off the token based bags sell for tokens as well and those starter crops costing coins just give coins back. Worth a test when you get things rolling. But for sure the first few quests are kinda small crumbs to get the next few crops.

0:32 - Turning them off was a really good decision, because gem compactor was replaced and unless you had 4 gem compactors one for each type, you'll get all of the gems just piling up in there individually. For the storage mod, that kinda goes against what that game is about, that is making things piece by piece :D Until you get sprinkler system, put piping to get water dripping in middle of tile, and install a fancy pedestal, you can put bucket and watering can precisely where needed and it won't jump all over the place when dropped

something I figured out is that you can actually stack pallets, just as long as you don't go too high for any one pallet you can stack them up really high, like I would transport like 20 conveyor belt sections at once by stacking pallets with 4 sections each stacked on top of each other.

Great work on getting the farm onto 1 base level! You've set yourself up for a way easier time later on. Probably definitely going to want to make a full manifold water/sprinkler grid quite a way above the field so that you can drive the harvest/replanter under it, it seems a bit "wobbly". Before you can get into a full sprinkler setup (stupid tokens), it might make your life way easier right now to make a line of T-pipes (with the 90°outlets all pointing out in the same direction), and then only planting crops under the drip points on the ground. Apparently theres a Min/Max strat of weighing the vegetables and only adding enough weight (of each veg type required)to complete a specific soup quest. The veggies have varying individual sizes, so a "big" carrot might be worth 2 Cut-Carrots, meaning a quest with a 6 carrot requirement might only need 3 or 4 BIG carrots... allowing the other 2 or 3 smaller carrots to be used in other soups or be turned back into seeds for future replanting. Not sure how accurate this is, the update is super new and my potatoes have all cooked themselves (so no games for me lol).

You'd think there might be a coin exchange like you travelled to a neighboring country. I was thinking about this and I remember you mentioned a machine that ground down a vegetable into seeds, perhaps a bigger farm through seeds made from first investment for a vegetable type?

Z, the seeds are not disappearing. You just have to actually look at stuff. If you hold a seed bag in your hand, on the left side of it you can see those red dots. Normally, there is only one red dot. But if you stack them on each other, some sees "stack" and you will get one bag with several red dots on them. So those bags will be good for more than 1 planting. Of course, the storage mod probably can't differentiate them and as soon as you put them into the storage unit, they become the same 1 unit seed bags... So the only reason why you might lose seeds is because you're putting stacked ones into the storage unit.

a tip for doing your videos you can switch to creative mode and back again anytime you want so what you can do is give you self the hourglass from the creative mode and it will stay around in non-creative mode that way when your recording you can just set it to day time and pause it so that the lighting does not interfere with your videos.

The seeds are like coins and stack when dropped on one another. on the side of the seed pack is a red dot which indicates how many are in that stack.

Pretty sure you can buy the watering can with hydrocoins. A couple of things over there had the coin symbol when looking at the item and I think your stacking the seeds like you do with coins. Edit: Should have watched the whole video you figured it out haha

I use carts like the a storage box things. Personally I don’t mod, and enjoy just the vanilla experience. Its great cause if im low on pipes or seeds i just grab that cart and run to the store. (The fast one for me) and can still grab anything else i need.

The dots at the side of the seed packet is how many seeds you have for plant it and you can do it by throw it at the top of each other

I noticed what looked like a button on the grocery's stand. try pressing it before selling something. it might be a switch between tokens and coins. you also might try doing a currency exchange like this.

you can steal from the store with the sprinklers using the truck, they patched it for the normal stores but forgot to include it on that store

I believe watering is necessary (or may just make growing a touch faster) hence the sprinklers. Why put them in, if you don't need to water the plants. Also, based on vid's I've checked, it takes a day or three before the plant produces any fruit or veg. While you can HAND pick the veg, I have not heard that the plant will produce any additional veg, so one might as well remove the whole plant with the scythe. At least one person produced a "manual" automated watering system by placing T-Pipes, with the third segment open, dripping water onto the plants... I haven't seen/heard the sprinkler in action, but it might be quieter and not result in the water drip sound...

after you buy seed ( this only works with the same seeds) and you have two of the same seeds and you drop on another one of them disapear. Why because they combined. If you look on the seed packet the one red dot turned into two red dots yes you can stack more so if you stack 2 with each other it would be 1x2 or more it would be 1xNUMBER_______ random list 1x2, 1x3 , 1x4, 1x5, 1x6 or more I think.
