Diverter Valves can be a little tricky if its your first time trying to replace one ...In this video I will show You all of my tips and tricks so you can fix your spas Diverter Valve and know how its all assembled.

Great video...clearly explained and all the pros and cons about doing it right. .your mistakes in the past will save others so they do it right the first time...I know when I work with PVC and glue, I have about 2 seconds to get it to stick so like you said, when you put that diverter into the fitting, you better do it fast and right in the first second...great advice and video

Hi Scott. Great video, very explanatory. Is there a temp plug I can install in my diverter valves until I can replace them next spring. I have a vita spa that has two, two stage pumps. When the pumps kick on the tops of the diverters blow out. It doesn't bother me that the jets will all be running when the pumps are on. I just need to get through the winter.

NO Im afraid not.. The only way to fix it is to replace the valve.. once the threads go bad or they warp.. its over I have several videos showing how to do it and its not to bad.. takes about 3 or 4 hours. Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING

I know when you use the PVC Primer you also use PVC Glue. But you also talked about PVC Cement. Is the PVC Cement just for the gray PVC pipe and the Primer and Glue for the white and clear PVC pipe? Would like to know more on this? Love your informative video! Thanks!

Can you help me with hooking up my tuff spa. I need to know where the conduit enters the side of the spa?

Thanks. Do I understand it correctly that the white diverter valve itself can be pulled up through the part that's attached to the spa? I got the "handle" and cap off, and the valve turns, but there's grit in there. To clean it, do I just pull up on the valve? Obviously, I don't want to force something that shouldn't be.

Yes..you would just pull it out...Now if it will not come out with very little pressure (and I mean very little pressure) It need to be replaced. once they warp or get all gritted up they are on there last days and will just cause you grief ...And it time to replace it. @@spaman5440 Great, it came out just fine. I just couldn't tell by different vid's of the order that the parts go in. Now for my bigger issue: Air Control Valve leaking. GREAT video on that you did; I'll ask my question over there. I never understood how they worked, but it would appear that I'm having a crossover issue in a jet (I've got TWELVE) that have broken and I'm replacing.

my diverter makes a lot of air sounds when in middle position

Someplace in the system you are getting air in the lines..Most often that is what is causing that.. Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING

Hey Scott , very informative video. Our jacuzzi is a coast brand. It unfortunately is in a spot where it cannot be moved. We’ve been trying to replace the top portion of our diverter valve. There is obviously not enough thread on the upper part to make a tight enough connection. When we put on valve #2 the whole thing blows and we have old faithful. Is there any way you can suggest to get a tighter connection . We have tried shaving the female (top part ) should we do it more ? Thanks

The threads on the valve no longer have holding power and valve needs to be replaced. Once it starts blowing the bonnet off the valve the only fix is complete replacement. Sorry for the sad news. Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING
