God's love is unconditional but the thing people need to understand, especially in our society that "unconditional love" is not the same thing as "unconditional acceptance" As a uncle I can love my nephews unconditionally but that does not mean I have to tolerate their bad behavior and if I truly love them, I will correct them. Same thing applies to God. Whoever told you you are incorrect about God's love is incorrect and has no place being a professor.

I never was completely comfortable with Nelson, but I thought I was being disloyal and disagreeing with God. Your research and video shows how glaringly self-worship and prophet worshipping it all is. When Nelson opened his hands wide as folks applauded reminded me of the Pope when he acknowledges the crowd. Gave me the shivers. Few American presidents have had such birthday parties. The contradictions and double talk Nelson spits out goes right over most member's heads. Sure signs of blind obedience and conditioning to not ask questions or think. Absolutely! In fact I am in favor of rebranding the Mormon Church as [ drum roll 🥁] The Church of Joseph Smith and Latter Day Saints given more lip service is given to all the absurd rules, restrictions, polygamy practices in the LDS church, Book of Mormon as the Word of God, Masonic ceremonies, etc., and the list goes on not to mention this silly legacy of self proclaimed “prophets” like Brigham Young, who bears sole responsibility for the MMM slaughter of Americans, and various other fraudulent prophets promulgating misogynist, racist and homophobic attitudes and practices and who still continue to do so in “Name of Jesus Christ”! NO! In the Name of Joseph Smith! Let’s man up and be honest! Let’s call a spade a spade! The Cult of Mormonism is NOT Christian religion! Just as it is not a Masonic religion. But Christianity, Masonry, Science Fiction and the Bible and the invented Book of Mormon have all been major influences in the delusional mind of Joseph Smith who came up with this wildly hybrid and mishmash of religious beliefs. But is not Christ Jesus the low man of the Totem Pole? Sure he gets lip service but the real things that matter and affect your entrance into the Celestial Kingdoms have to do with church bans on drinking coffee and masturbation! I don’t recall Jesus Christ restricting the consumption of coffee or telling me I can not explore my sexuality through the practice of masturbation. Do you? If you do, then you’re not reading from the New Testament and are probably a “good Mormon”. That is your rite/ right! But it’s also my right to denounce a fraudulent cult when I see it and to call a spade a spade ♠️. I believe The Church of Joseph Smith and Latter Day Saints more accurately describes what the Cult of Mormonism truly centers around. Its myriad of laws, rituals, rules, doctrines and dogmas are specifically Joseph Smith invented and inspired and have zero input from Jesus Christ who wouldn’t even condone these mind control and brainwashing tactics. At the end of the day we come to Jesus and God and are Born Again in Him and NOT Joseph Smith and we are Born Again not through mind control and coercion but by the Love and Grace of Christ and God. If Jesus Christ truly died for our sins and redeemed us, what need do we have to cult leader and false prophet proclaiming his own authority over our Souls and demanding we become “worthy” enough through his invented cult and the science fiction he promulgated with the pagan notion of a man taking multiple wives only to leave multiple men without a wife because a bunch of lustful old farts have hogged up all the underage girls and ladies? What blatant hypocrisy! What blasphemy! God will NOT be mocked! God SEES through the clever manipulation to boost a man’s pride. But is not the sin of pride that tossed the archangel Lucifer and his minions out of Heaven in the first place?! Mormonism just repackaged the sin of pride and lust as the central tenet of polygamy in the Mormon cult. Certainly you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure this out! 🌀 ✨☀️✨🌘🌞🌒✨☀️✨

In 1998 “The Teachings of Presidents of The Church“ series of Manuals was introduced as the course of study material for Priesthood and Relief Society lessons, moving from one Prophet to another each year was interesting at first then, after several years, I was amazed at how wonderful and impeccable each of these men’s lives were represented to be. Fast forward to around 2013 and I begin feeling very uncomfortable with the level of adoration given to these men. During a lot of this time I was in positions to teach these lessons at least once a month. It became increasingly harder to prepare lessons that focussed more on admiring these men than teaching the principles in the title of each lesson. So much more to say, but to put it simply, I hated worshipping these men who, as I had become aware, had caused so much harm.

If you worshipped these men I feel sorry for you. They would be embarrassed if you felt the need or teaching to worship them. In fact, if you had more record of the Old Testament prophets you would probably realize they had just as many imperfections. The real question is if they are really called of God or not.

@@phillipcook3430quick and easy answer. No. Any honest, unbiased, and truthful understanding of the LDS church boils down to the facts that it was formed by a provable liar and adulterer and has continued its growth into an evil ponzi scheme that propagandizes and extorts its members. It's the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing Jesus warned about.

Like you, I am a member of the church that is dedicated to being part of the loyal opposition. I have never liked Dr. Nelson and have said so in church and priesthood lessons I’ve taught. I don’t like my Stake President and said so. I recognize their position in the church but that doesn’t mean I have praise or even like them-viewing your presentation made me sick inside and very afraid for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Hubris. Yeah, that’s the point. So much for a leader not leading the church astray-too many participate in Prophet worship. Hubris is the word.

Ewww. That birthday juxtaposed against the church's underwhelming charity giving. Also, Hinckley was a shrewd PR professional. He saw the nickname as a recognizable handle for the church in its attempts to raise its own visibility. It was easy to recall, easy to say, already out there in the world. Using it was a way to make the church seem more accessible and more approachable. Insisting on a long, formal name with stiff dignity, does precisely the opposite.

I am so grossed out i could barely sit through that. Nelson is as bad as Spencer Kimball. Nelson's bedside talk he supposedly had with his daughter as she was dying had me cringe so bad, as he listed the things she at had done righteously in her life. He was bragging about himself, not her! She could go to heaven knowing she was higher than others, because she obeyed him and the gospel. He bragged about how all of his children and their spouses were living practically perfect in every way, according to the gospel rules, cuz of him. He's a Pharisee to his bones. If I still believed in this crap,i would be running so fast trying to do everything they tell me to do, exactly right, to earn God's love. Ultimately, it's a life of doing a whole bunch of things you don't even want to do! But you want God to love you, so you sell your identity for it. IT'S CRAP. Hinckley's birthday bothered me even tho i was tbm back then. It was hero worship. It was all about him, not Jesus. I thought that was really odd how they exalted him! But Nelson finally got his chance to be even more exalted than Hinckley. And it's even more gross.

I think of all the people who go hungry in order to pay their tithing only to have their money used for this prideful spectacle. “songs of glory unto thee“? I guess it took God 4 times to get the name of the church right. It started out as The Church of Christ. Then in 1834-1838, it was called The Church of Latter Day Saints. Then The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In 1923 it became incorporated. The proper name of the church is The Corporation of the President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

You know if Nelson really wanted to get his point across he should be using the Lord's "real" historical name "Yeshua" So really the name of the church should be called. "The Church of Yeshua" or if you want the extended and in my opinion over lengthen title "The Church of Yeshua of latter day Saints." Jesus Christ is not the Lord's actual name. Its just a title the romans gave him to best understand him. The words "Jesus" and "Christ" are just as much as nickname as the word "mormon" is. Which if you really think about it, Nelson is just a hypercrite.
