That’s the thing about growing up… some parents are smart enough and grown enough not to whinge about the other parent to or infront of their kids when they are young. However, once those young kids are grown adults, their parents see them as an adult who has some life experience and understands grown people problems who can be a sounding board. While that’s true and they can be a good listener and give great advice to other people (who aren’t their immediate family) about their issues, they still can’t and don’t want to hear the negative stuff about their parents. It’s no different to having a friend or someone outside of the family saying bad things about your parents. You wouldn’t accept or stand for someone whinging to you about your mother or father, so it’s no different when one parent does and says the same thing about the other parent. You don’t want to hear “how bad” of a person someone thinks one of your parents are. Being an adult does not change the fact that a parent shouldn’t talk/whinge about the other parent to their children. While they may not make a great spouse, they could be a very good and loving parent, so no parent should put negative views in their child’s head about the other parent and they should respect their child and their child’s feelings and heart enough, to not speak badly about someone they truly love and care for. That’s why they say you should never speak badly about your spouse/ex spouse to your CHILDREN. They will always be your children no matter what age they are.

its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldnt just let her go i did all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring her back

Guys. If you're going to be doing the same advertisement on all the divorce court videos, change it up. As someone is marketing, the conversation style thing is great. Just...don't copy paste the conversations. The same people are looking at videos. Change up the problems, and the way you're talking about your spiritual counseling. I see it everywhere and jeez.

Staying means he's complicit, PLUS he cheated and still married her. Everyone changes so he either forgives and moves through it or leave her alone. No one deserves to be consistently belittled and disrespected.
