But when I was 18, I was working two jobs, my mom was a single mom of three with me being the oldest. I started working at 14 and at 15 I taught myself how to save and was able to buy my youngest brother his first bike. That’s still my proudest moment in life. 💜

When I was younger, I dated older men. They were financially stable. I earned my own 6 if they did not want to take me out, it's okay, I can take myself out. But for him, depending on an 18 year old( whom he was definitely sleeping with) IS VERY RODICULOUS.

I disagree. If that's the case she gets what she deserves also. Age does not equate wisdom and young doesn't equate immaturity. She stated that in her testimony she got with him at 18 because HE had things going for himself. So why is it okay for her to choose him for status but he cant choose her for her youthfulness

I’m just trying figure out when people are going to start holding these very grown men who are chasing after teenage and “barely legal” girls accountable. 1. It’s predatory and gross… “but it’s legal, she was 18” just because it’s legal doesn’t mean its right. Would you be okay with your 17/18 year old child/sibling/friend dating (being groomed by) someone 12+ years their senior. 2. At 30 what could you possibly have in common with a teenager? I’m 21 and I don’t even have anything in common with most 17/18/19 yr/olds I meet. 3. Most teenagers aren’t going to be able to take care of a household. What did he expect? They also have to show that they can a.) care for themselves, or b.) someone to care for them. And that still doesn’t mean that person is mature. She was 18 and he was 30. She had just graduated high school at that point, so what made him think she was gonna be ready to be anyone’s wife, let alone live in girlfriend. She didn't want to walk 2 miles to work? I've had to walk nearly 9 miles home from my work on a few occasions because we didn't have $2.00 for me to take the bus home. And this was in the summer when temps are over 100 degrees in Las Vegas. If you're single and want to quit a job because you don't want to walk or take the bus then go ahead and quit the job but if you're in a relationship and are expected to help pay the bills then you better do whatever is necessary in order to get and keep a job.

20 minutes a mile unless you are crawling. Are they in Texas? I walk 2 to 3 miles a day for exercise. And my miles average 16/17 minutes a mile. After working a full time job. I’m 67.

Maybe I’m reading things wrong but I’m not liking the dynamics between these two. He’s 34, irresponsible, doesn’t have a license, makes excuses, and puts her down. It seems he wants to put everything on this child. And yes I say child. Just because she’s 22 she obviously very immature. He’s a predator. If she was my child I’d be taking her out of that damn household. I’m too disgusted.
