Am ever disturbed whenever I see people divorcing, the mere mention of this topic disturbs me Before I think of divorce as the husband/wife, why can't I think of what is leading to divorce? If it's infidelity, unfaithfulness, fornication, drunkenness, violence, (emotional, physical) why can't I be humble enough to admit & solve this? It's better I die solving these evils than die of divorce pain. If am irresponsible, why can't I rectify it, because if I divorce for all the above mentioned, I will automatically transfer these vices evils to my next marriage. In the village where I come from there goes a proverb which says: A long tailed animal does not cross fire. Let me say this,the evils you fail to solve bite back very painfully. This is sure,not theory. I thought marriage bed should be honored.

Marriage takes work, and sometimes that means open communication and effort from both partners. That said, divorce isn't always a failure. In some cases, it can be the healthiest option for everyone involved, especially in situations with abuse or addiction. A strong marriage is built on respect, communication, and a willingness to work through problems together.

If a spouse is nurturing the children, then the properties should be fairly apportioned. Secondly, Divorce scenario should be part of preparation for marriage/marriage counseling. #ToughConversation during dating/courtship days...

Pre-nups might not be the most romantic topic, but they can definitely save a lot of heartache down the line. Who knew "fair splits" could be so important? That being said, communication is key in any relationship, so talking finances and future plans before marriage is a total win. Maybe we can do a whole video on prepping for marriage that's not all doom and gloom?

In good times, when women are low, men may educate them and help them to find a footing; if the man , for any reason, goes down or is struggling, the lady can't stand it. She forgets where she was , and wants to leave. It's all selfishness, really.

A wise way is to take 7- 10 yrs to have and raise children...then the wife goes into her career once the last child is in school. She then still has about 30yrs to enjoy her career, but she has had her children and doesn't need to mix duties at the toughest stage (infancy, toddler age).

1st of all before I marry, why can't I understand marriage is eternal, compared to relationship between Christ & church: Ephesians 5:23-32 Before I think of divorce, why can't I admit, own up, accept corrections we reconcile if failure to that will lead to divorce. Why can't we drop our ego,pride& diplomatically maturely solve these conflict that lead to divorce. (Men may suffer from this more, fellow men, kindly let's check this, am a man& I know what I mean) Will the children face this inequality because of our inability to solve? Consequences of divorce are painful. Do all what you can to prevent divorce. Prevention is better than cure

Thanks for your thoughtful comment. Marriage is definitely a big commitment, and looking to the Bible for guidance is a great approach. Ephesians 5:23-32. The Bible emphasizes patience, forgiveness, and working through conflict. Marriage takes work, and there will be challenges. Ego and pride can be huge roadblocks in any relationship. Open communication and a willingness to see things from your partner's perspective are key. Children are deeply affected by divorce. It's so important to try everything possible to create a stable and loving home for them. There are so many resources available for couples to learn communication skills and strengthen their relationship.

Are courts considering only minor children, disabled children or even adult ones.
@TheJagero
@TheJagero Ай бұрын
Courts are primarily concerned with the well-being of minor children. For minor children, the court will decide custody and visitation arrangements based on the "best interests of the child" standard. For disabled children, even if they are adults (depending on the severity of the disability), the court might consider similar factors to ensure their continued care. Adult children, however, generally are not part of the custody or visitation decisions. The court might be involved in financial matters related to adult children with disabilities, but this would depend on the specific applicable laws. It's always best to consult with a family lawyer in your jurisdiction for specific legal advice.

You make a great point. An equal partnership is key! Maybe there's a way the man in this situation can find a chore he enjoys, or they can split things differently. Open communication is everything!

If we husband and wife are bringing in money equally then by all means they should do the dishes equally.. There is a big distinction between what the individual earns and what they bring into the family...... because we all know his money is their money and her money is her money.

Can couples divorce but still run their businesses together?
@TheJagero

Whether a couple can divorce and still run a business together depends on several factors. It's certainly possible, but it often requires clear communication, a strong business structure, and sometimes, professional mediation.

Oduor women then were oppressed had nowhere to go were shunned by society and church and family. TODAY its easier not for all women but at least for many who work and can feed themselves and take them to school, n probably buy land. Also the society is less judgemental

There's definitely been progress for women in terms of opportunities and societal acceptance. It's amazing to see more women being financially independent and having a voice. However, there's still a way to go when it comes to equal pay, representation in certain fields, and dismantling some remaining stereotypes. What are your thoughts on how we can continue to push for gender equality?

@@TheJageroit's still hard in many communities to be divorced. Even your family members shun you. Yet you are not even asking them for anything. It's s long long way. Marriages should be for keeps but sometimes inakataa

There's absolutely no age limit to pursue a law degree - you can definitely go for it at 40! Just like doctors, lawyers can specialize in different areas too. #LawSchool #NeverTooLate #Education #Law
