DIY 15hp Go Kart Will it drift

3 жыл бұрынThis is the first project I have made. I had no workshop or garage at the time of filming. It was done just for a bit of fun out of my garden shed.

u need a torque converter and this thing will drive diffrent as hell🔥

Yes your right it needed one. I did look into doing this but in the end I sold the cart to make room for other Gokart build. Had some great fun with it.

Glad I found this. Where did you get the spring/shock combo? I'm building something similar for my grandson. Great job with the build.

Thanks very much for the comment. This is where I got the Spring/shocks (www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174029516580). Have to say it was a gamble as they were cheap but work perfectly with the setup.

maybe try getting some plastic to go over the wheels to act as drift tires

I like the idea thanks. I'm also wondering if I should convert it to electric and put a big motor on it with tons of torque?? What you think?

33mph ( 53 km/h) as tested on an old runway with the current gearing but would go a hell of a lot faster with different sprocket.
