- 1.6-2 m knit fabric
- 60-200 cm elastic 2 cm wide (depends on your waist measurement)

I will agree that the camera work is quite good. However there is a little more to sewing a bias skirt. Among other things. Handle your fabric as little as possible so that the fabric does not get distorted as it often does ion a bias cut. Understitch the fabric to the elastic with a wide zig zag. DON'T let the fabric hang down while you are sewing. And most importantly, before you hem, hang the skirt overnight to let the bias parts stretch. Even up the hem after 24 hours and then hem, as explained. If you hem too early you will end up with a very wonky hem.

That's a good tip. I would do two stitches on the sides to give room for those who gain weight! That's the way sewing was done couple of decades ago. Also I would do a half an inch hem instead of narrow him. This type of sewing started with fast and cheap fashion to save fabric.

hi! is it the waist measurement plus the ease indicated on the pattern? or just the waist measurement without ease? I purchased the pattern and I'm now working on it.
