Have the same floats. It comes with a rubber washer, a hard plastic washer and the nut. If you see on the rubber washer and on the plastic washer, they have identical marks where they line up. I was told that plastic fitting goes in first then the rubber washer which is on the inside if the bucket. The rubber washer creates the seal of course to edge of the bucket, while the plastic washer creates more of a surface for that rubber washer to press against. And on the outside of the bucket, is only the nut,,not that plastic washer. The other reason why I think this is correct because of that plastic flange on the threads, that prevents a perfect circle for the hole, but if you place the plastic, hard washer inside with the rubber washer, everything lined up. It's like, "The only way it should be put together correctly." Your thoughts? I haven't installed yet but I'm about too.
