I’ve been meaning to make one of the usual quilt batting dolls of a favorite character of mine. However, I just last week lost my precious kitty and having seen your squishy version I think I’d really like to make a Her. I’ve been looking at kitty plush toys online but none of them were right. I don’t know if my try will be any better but it will be heartfelt, right? I’d be able to give her a hug even if she’s not here with me anymore ❤️

Thank you for all the descriptions, it really helps for a Wishlist for Christmas! :D You’re one of my main idols or role models, or however you want to word it. You are the reason I got into my own version of sculpting! It’s the middle of the night but you are better than sleep! This is amazing as always Kaypea!

art doll idea: a werewolf with black fur, lanky proportions, 4 horns (2 big, 2 small) and 6 eyes (4 small, 2 normal)

When I use stuffing, i wrap that craft pipe cleaner fuzzy wires around the armature first... It helps the stuffing to stick to the armature better 😁

Super cute as always! It's been awhile since you did this one but thought I'd toss in that in my experience, hemostats are pointed & forceps usually have a looped end like for birthing babies, cotton balls, or other sterilized items.

I've been a dog groomer for years and want to try this. my clippers are much more expensive. I'm a stay at home mom now so this seems like a good addition to skills I already have plus been sewing since 7th grade and was specializing in ceramics in college before dropping out.

Hemostats are a type of forceps. I believe the once you are using are flat nose hemostats.

I have been binge watching your videos while making cosplay ears so this reminders to do the thing that you want to do is what is keeping me motivated because it is tedious… I am making them with yarn, card stock, wire, and a butt ton of hot glue. Soooooo much freaking yarn.

Thanks so much for posting these. I’m watching these to hopefully learn enough to make a couple of fanart creatures from a webtoons comic. Biggest hold up will definitely be the clay work, haven’t worked with clay since 4th grade. Just got some playdoh to practice with.

Btw, it's not just a color or morph of a red fox, it's actually a cross between the red and silver fox, who are legitimately 2 different species of fox. Cross foxes are truly beautiful and absolutely adorable ;)

You should make an art submission # and get people to draw animals and once in a while, if you find you that you really want to make, you should credit the person and make a doll out of it. it would be interesting and you could make stuff that you would've never thought of before!
