My husband and I poured a cement slab for the hearth of our fireplace. Just a tip for anyone that’s going to attempt that make sure your drill is powerful enough to mix the cement. Ours started smoking and then started on fire 🤣🥴

Great job!! I'm excited to do this in my bathroom. I have a question about the countertop measurements. How much overhang did you add to the countertop, and is it the same in the back as the other 3 sides? I was thinking it only needs to be equal to the baseboard thickness in back. Thanks! I don't need your total exact dimensions because I need to adjust all of them for my space.
