DIY Build MQ-9 Reaper UAV Drone - Foam RC plane 2500 mm

This is the first time I make a glider like model aircraft. I build and make the plans for this MQ-9 Reaper because there are many request for this UAV drone and it looks cool with all bombs and missiles it can carries. Learning from many previous model on KZfaq videos, I decided to make the size of it with 2500mm wingspan, to give lighter wing loading. I enlarge the wing area almost doubled also made the stabilizers a bit bigger then the scale for maintaining stabilization. Surprisingly it take off without any issue and fly very stable and floating.

Dude, That looks insane! Excellent craftmanship and flying. It really does look like an actual Reaper! I made my version but with the purpose to fly Long Range FPV - Part 1 is uploaded :)

I've been flying RC for about 36 years now and saw several things for the first time in this video. You have a very artistic approach to construction that is awesome. I loved the thread around the landing gear wire! Your prop balancing had me laughing, but it's effective and can't believe I never thought of hot glue for that. Can't believe your spinner didn't come apart either. Love it. Subscribed.

That's the 3rd spinner, others breaking off because unbalanced. Luckily I found a way to balance it lol. Thanks

Hey Julius hope you had a great Christmas and all the best for the new year to you and your family. Once again I'm blown away by your skills and workmanship and this is a beautiful aircraft and even if I don't build a certain model I always learn something from you with every video you produce. I'm much looking forward to how you design your planes as I have blender as well although I haven't come close to even grabbing the basics yet. I'm curious as to what you might produce next year and you probably get suggestions and requests all over the place but if may I have a few suggestions 1- Antonov AN2 'cub' biplane ...2- Fokker F27 friendship ....3- Dehavilland Dash 8 ....and 4- SAAB SF340..just some ideas I have thrown around in my head from time to time anyway all the best 🙂

Jeez you have no idea how much your videos help! Me and my colleague are planning to make an RC plane when we get our june salary 😂 Its gonna be fun! Ive made smaller planes before from helicopter parts and all, and I have a LITTLE bit of flying experience... but this time, I'm gonna make a bigger (about 50 inch wingspan?) Piper cub or some similar plane... flying it will be hard but gotta learn anyway, aight! Thanks man your videos are so helpful-
