Hello! Great job. From my reading and watching various rving channels, even though you wouldnt think so, a mattress needs airing underneath it...a gap, a screen or aomething to let air in and out along the whole underside, or it will get wet and mouldy. I dont know why, but seems like universal advice. Something to do with body heat, yada yada, humidity, yada yada People use eggshell crate or some bumpy underlayers or slats to open space for the air to get in and out. Enjoy your neat new space you created!

Great job I am impressed for some one who was nervous you took the right steps to make sure you got the final product u wanted. when u get some more cash or if you have boards left over would be precut some horizontal boards to go from storage sides so when ur hauling and picking up stuff you don't have to pile it all on your bed and they could be removed easily after and stacked up length wise just an idea

Great job on your build. Love the cabinets. You might want to sand the edge of that plywood and the 2x4’s to round the edges a bit. Rubbing up against it can tear you up. You are doing what I always wanted to do and should have done 40 years ago with my Golden.

Run the screws in reverse while pressing into the firring strips. It will stop them from splitting when you run them in forward.
