DIY Desk (making a wooden diy office desk)

I decided to build an office desk using wood, wall panels, trim and an acacia butcher-block wood countertop. I love the textured design of the table legs and the herringbone natural wood table top. This DIY office desk turned out to be the perfect table... even better than I imagined! The same concept could also be used as a dining table if you wanted. Hope you enjoyed this video! 💞

Oh my goodness Dalia - I have no words. First off, I LOVE that you are always so real and honest about your struggles, not trying to put on a super glamorous, idealized view of life. You talk to us about the big concepts your'e working through. Perhaps the current struggle just has to do with how your mind operates. You clearly have a drive, a vision, that is not common. Perhaps the mind of a person like you continually asks questions, and sometimes it can drive a person crazy. Please keep showing YOU, and your seriously incredible creations.

Oh my, the desk is gorgeous 😍! Thank you for going through the process, finishing it up and share it ❤ The LORD GOD, spoke to me thru you when you said, “HOW CAN YOU FIX A PROBLEM, WHEN YOU DONT KNOW ITS THERE.” As a Cristian I go through difficulties, pain, distress, etc… however, I trust that God will help me to overcome whatever I’m going through at the moment. Like you said, the process is not always pretty but at the end you get to see how your heart changed, and get the bigger picture of the situation at hand, so then you rejoice saying it was all worth it. Thank you once more for sharing the things you make, and a little of your life. I enjoy seen you and learning form your mistakes 😅 as well as get inspire to build something myself. Thanks for being so real. It’s incredibly helpful for me. Just a thought I’ve come to in the last 6 months. I started doing wheel throwing. I absolutely love the process-except when I have to smash a pot. Lol. I often throw away the product once it’s done. I live in a small house and don’t need a bunch of little bowls around. But one of the things I love about throwing them away is the outcome doesn’t matter. It’s finding joy in the process that matters. It has been incredibly freeing for me. Just something to think about.

Beautiful!!!! I suggest putting some sort of sealant on the top though- butcher block absorbs moisture and will stain (even water rings) and its soooooo pretty, gotta make sure shes protected!
