Book-nooks can be great short term pallet cleansers in between larger projects. They can be of any miniature scale, scope, and subject while being physically confined to a set physical dimension. They also allow you to flex your design muscles as the forced perspective really leads to interesting challenges. Perhaps you could scratch build one for the channel as opposed to just building a kit sometime.

How did you find the noise level of the motor? Ive seen it quite loud on another Anavrin model (the train) ? Do the upper floor lights move too quickly? In the video it almost looks like a fire rushing through the building. but maybe its more subtle in real life? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Well it is pretty loud. And the screen on the upper level moves quite fast. Turning the motor on is more of a novelty than something you can leave operating. The lights however can be left on on their own and look awesome. Especially in a dark room.
