Maybe consider buying a couple of bird moulds, plaster of paris, spray those birds copper and mount them at the ends of the top rods.? I think it would be a beautiful finishing touch and really draw attention to your beautiful window treatments.

Imma gonna try to make the same set up but use Galvanized Steel Pipes (I'll spray paing a brushed bronze). I'll use elbow fittings and T-fittings
