Do It Yourself (DIY) transform a trike into an Electric Trike using hoverboard motor and e-bike controller. In this part, I connect 2 e-bike controller to 2 motor (each motor has controller) but only one battery, one throttle/accelerator and one lcd display with detail step by step wiring instruction.

Wow wie cool, ich schau gerne deine Videos an. Dafür das du kein Profi bist, tust du dass was du machst sehr gut. Leider ist mein Englisch nicht so gut aber du gibst dir die aller beste mühe um alles auch im Bilder verständlich zu machen. Danke für deine Videos!

Ja danke dir dafür. Du motiviert mich für meine Kinder mit deine Videos zu basteln. Bin dabei die Komponenten zu kaufen, nur das dreirad finde ich nicht.

Does the Brake actually slow down the wheel or ist ist only cutting the Power to the Motor? I have bought Tel Controllers and when the brake wires are connected, only the throttle is cut but no actual braking force is applied. It would be extremely nice if you would answer my question 😅🙏

The electric brake only cut the power, therefore we need the normal brake as well (like standard e-bike).

I think you have to unplug the battery and charge

Sorry for late reply. It is true what @Elliot Downie said, I unplug the battery first and recharge it separately. But I have upgraded it with external battery with bigger capacity, you can see it in the 3rd part of the video here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/lZqVnbaKy9yqhp8.html

I guess you can just attach the female plug from the hoverboard to the battery connection, red-to-red, black-to-black, then you can just plub and use you charger... (I guess...)
