That's cool...I hack that to use it on a kids powerwheels or go kart..ect it dosnt need to go super fast..12-15 mph is fine. I'll gear it accordingly....Used hoverboards motors and bike parts are cheap and easy to get.

Julgando pelo olhar parece ser um de 48/24 volts, so não achei muito eficiente ele não acoplar diratamente a roda, talvez não muito torque?

I think you should use a larger freewheel in the back,,, that will give this bicycle a medium torque and speed,, the configuration you have used, that will give a top end speed, but lack of acceleration,

В колесе МК будет перегреваться, в идеале для такого мотора нужно передаточное отношение 3:1 (за 3 оборота МК колесо обернётся 1 раз), таким образом увеличить крутящий момент

I dare say that if he can operate a lathe and a welding torch, source the components, and get it all working, he's more than able to fix on some foot rests. Its an experiment. I'd imagine, too, that he'll mount the battery more solidly too, but it all takes time,doesn't it? Early bikes didn't have pedals or footrests, don't forget, it helped with balance on a rough road to have feet loose.

no you can't. as it is programmed to move forward or backward when weight is applied in the relative direction. you can use any 36/48v chinese brushless motor controller ranging from 250 to 750 watts

Контроллер, который генерирует переменный трёхфазный ток, которым и питается МК и ручка газа, которая управляет контроллером. Всё просто

Мотору не выжить, надо ставить ведомую звёздочку больше. Имея станок ступицу можно было выточить с противоположной от вала стороны, тогда бы он так не выпирал

It really has no big advantage over having left it as a hub motor but if you add a derailleur and rear cassette now you'll have giviem yourself a big advantage over the original Hub motor but without the benefits of the gear ratios it's going to be just about like it was but just in a different location

How many hours until battery runs out?

Depends on how big the battery is, the speed you travel at, weight carried, hills and wind encountered, pressure in the tyres, efficiency of the system, and how old the batteries are. You see why its not a sensible question to ask? But don't feel bad, lots of people ask the same question interminably, but its long past the time when they either need to stop asking, or get out a piece of paper and do the calculation. For example, you need about 200 watts to travel at a decent speed along a good smooth and level road when the bike is in perfect condition, tyres pumped. So a 1000whour battery will give 5 hours. A 10amphour battery at 24volts gives 240whour, but those are small and cheap, so you could double or treble that easily, and with LiPo batteries even more. Add a trailer and you could carry 25 kg of batteries, enough for 20 hours. It depends on how much you want to spend on batteries. So let me ask you a question with similar open-endedness - how rich are you, what is your educational level, how good are you at experimenting?
