I would use some heat shrink for the wires soldered to the USB connector, looks like it could short out

3:23 you should use some Heat shrink on the USB wire u striped to much mite hit the body of it and make a short. Up to you just saying good vid 👌 👏

If you use a more heavy duty buck converter that can output 12v, you can use a led car headlight with this same method. I'm doing that with my board right now

Jack Maley I order everything except the deck because it has been sold out , but i could always return the parts if I see better fit with other parts , for now im just waiting on backorders

The road vibrations and bumps shorted my led's so fast. It looks dope but the lights can go out pretty quick.

I think you stripped those wires a bit to much. Couldn’t they short on the metal surface on the usb? 2:51

I have issues with my bearings only lasting a few weeks. I have had an experience with the bearings exploding and locking up my wheel mid ride. It has only happened once though. My board has a single motor with 8 inch all terrain tires on it and it goes around 30 mph or so. I use abec-11 bearings. Are there bearings that can prevent this from happening? Thanks!

You can do it with any board if you solder it in and create a hole in the enclosure

Instead of buying and soldering a usb input, couldn’t you just use a phone charger by Using only the black and red wire?
