have been struggling with another pattern for this style and yours is WAY BETTER. To include the lining as you go is a brilliant idea. I have been fighting with a separate lining and have thrown in the towel on my current suitcase. Going to recut and do your way.....MANY MANY THANKS....................

I have looked for a pattern for a case for my sewing machine and thought I must design my own. Then you posted THIS! Perfect. I may need to adjust dimensions to fit and will use durable canvas, but this pattern is great. Thank you and Happy New Year!

Hello! Thank tou for this tutorial! I tried to make this one but I stucked on the step where the top need to stitch with the side. The fabric for the top seems to big to sticth with the side fabrick (the one with the zipper). Thank you

Great tutorial! I took a lot of notes on what you were doing and I want to try to make this. The only thing I might do differently is stitch the bias tape over the bottom edge piece prior to attaching the top piece, just so there is less fabric/suitcase to deal with. My vintage machine doesn't have a free arm, so it gets extra awkward. :-) thank you for sharing!!

this one can be incredibly useful - clothes and shoes for a 1 day trip, or a case for all girly stuff, or a personal suitcase for your child's toys on a journey... it can be a take-it-and-go case for all your family papers as it has enough room for 2 A4-paper piles or i will make it 4 cm narrow and use as a laptop case. thanks a lot!

Encore un de tes modèles terminé. Tu me rends super heureuse. Merci à la personne qui filme de très près pour voir exactement tes gestes, le pied que tu utilises. J'apprends tout avec toi. Tu es une fée de la couture. Je t'adore. J'aimerais bien que tu fasse un sacoche à documents pour homme pour mon mari qui est commercial. Fais-tu aussi de la broderie machine car je cherche des tuto aussi bien fait que le tiens pour pouvoir apprendre. Je te remercie encore 10 000 fois car vraiment TOUT ce que tu fais est joli, parfait et donne vraiment envie de faire pareil. MERCI. Je t'embrasse très fort.
