DIY FISHING ROD STORAGE - Quintrex 460 Renegade

I was cleaning my boat out from a trip and decided to change up my fishing rod storage to lay the rods flat instead of upright in my quintrex 460 renegade.
It came up beautifully! and cost me next to nothing! budget rod holder!
a great way to do it for those who don't want a bulky rod locker

Nce work mate. I just got a 420SC and ended up cutting that side pocket off too, so I can add rod storage. I did move my anchor light to the drivers side tho.

Great result mate well done.Only thing different I would do is rivet instead of bolting to avoid the stainless reacting on the alloy.But hey looks sweet.I’ll be doing something very similar .Thanks for the idea mate.

Nice! I'm pretty shore you could get rubber grommets to line the rod holes, maybe Clark Rubber, Bunnings? And even some adhesive foam on the hull to stop the reels 'knockin'?

Great idea buddy, I used the same ones you had first and screwed them to the ribs. Works fine , but I have a 490 so it’s probably a little different in the spacing..

Thanks mate! Haha yeah I definitely had to make sure I was looking at all sides of the blade while cutting hey! Would be very easy to cut through the side! Nailed it though haha
