Great review mate. Ive got a slightly older 460 and love it. my only suggestion is maybe put some eva foam in those side pockets as well. the guys who serviced my boat said it wasnt great to have metal objects (sinkers, lip grips, knives etc) in contact with the pockets or the hull as it'll speed up corrosion...

Quick one, with your 55lb electric motor, how many hours of use do you get say in the dams vs in the bay/offshore with current etc? Trying to decide if I should go a 55lb or 80lb for my 460 quinny. Mate, you've missed a business opportunity there! You could buy up that foam in bulk, cut it up off a template to make multiple copies for the bow, dash, side pockets etc and then sell it as a complete DIY kit, just like those headliner panel kits for the Jeep Wranglers. If you have a mate at a dealership that would give you access to some boats to make templates from, you could offer multiple kits for different makes & models, lengths etc. Nice little money earner there without much cash outlay...
