Nice tip on the tie wrap sharpness, Another good idea is to turn them around so the the head is tucked under the bucket and only the smooth or slick side is accessible to your hands. Thank for the video, very innovative for when the application will allow for a 5 gal bucket.

Super cool idea. I found a Lowes bucket hung up in the mangroves that'll be perfect. You could probably get by with only about 10% of those holes. Seems like I've seen lids at Walmart that have hatches built in...

Cool. You can get by with less holes but it takes longer to fill and setup right in the water

Pretty smart my man! I cast net some sardines and herring here on the west coast of Florida for Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, and Trout. I do a lot of wade fishing and in a regular bait bucket, they die pretty quick. They are very dependent on good water flow and oxygenation. I'm gonna try your idea! Thank you for the tutorial.

Hi, thanks for the Video. I worked in a Prototype Machine Shop doing all the Wiring, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Line runs on the machines. Using Toe Nail Clippers to cut the Tag end of the Wire Ties will give the Smoothest NON Scratch/Cut ends possible without having to sand them down. Cutting them on the FLAT side while pressing down into the Collar does the Trick. If there happen to be any corners felt, just hit them with the clippers again and they're gone. Toe Nail Clippers work on most wire Ties up to about 18" ones. Larger than that, yes the Dykes are needed.

Thanks for the video dude. That's a pretty good tutorial. I have just one small suggestion. After your intro, aim the camera entirely at your work piece. Some of us are more visual learners and want to see your hands as you go through the process. Otherwise, keep cranking them out! And for us saltwater guys, we probably should use stainless steel washers and nuts.

Awesome build! I would suggest Walmart or Lowes buckets. The blue color is more soothing to bait and keeper fish

So….harbor freight red would be more stressful? Shoot, that’s what i planned on using cuz I like red!! 😊. What color are Walmarts buckets? White?
@allkindsofoutdooractivities9 ай бұрын
@@brianguillen8988 blue is just more soothing and absorbs less light. White isn’t a bad idea. I think WM is white or blue. It won’t kill them for red. It is a cool looking bucket

Nice bait bucket bro. I am going to make me one very soon since the weather is very cool and I'd prefer to be on the water fishing during the warmer months. Thanks again for the how to build a bait bucket.

I like the idea for sure to keep the weight down in the kayak. Why don't they have office chairs in them where you can actually get to what's behind you.

I like it all but the para cord. Seems like overkill. Ive toted those buckets full of concrete and never had an issue with the handle breaking. I like the Frabil lid as well. Didn't know you could buy those without the bucket.

You can go bigger. Use a laundry basket, it should work

I love a good diy but a floating fish basket with lid is $9 at Walmar lol.
