Hi. I’m making the hand foaming soap. I don’t have the essential oils just the vitamin E it’s that ok?

For a more technological approach to foaming, try using an automatic foam soap dispenser. It only requires a soap and water mixture to produce quality foam without any pressing. This method is more hygienic and prevents cross-contamination. It would be great if the blogger could test this out!

Adding water to the castile soap will increase the likely hood of mold. You should let your viewers know that if you add water the soap should be used within a couple of weeks.

Oh my god, my boyfriend adores foaming hand soaps (which is why I could never convince him to switch to my self-made liquid soaps) :o I will definitely try this recipe to see if this may convince him :D

Love the recipe...but please be aware that Young Living Essential Oils has been fined several times for illegally harvesting oils from endangered species..

Hi! This is awesome! Thank you for sharing!! Question. How long does the soap last? Since you are diluting the preservative in the castile soap and it may create bacteria how long do you recommend using it for or making a new one before it grows bacteria?

To be honest, I'm really not sure. In my house we use up our hand soaps within a few weeks. But I've had soaps lasts as long as a year and they don't smell weird. That's not scientific at ALL, I know, LOL ;). But there are some natural preservatives you can buy on Amazon if you'd like to have one. Also, Vitamin E oil and Rubbing Alcohol are natural preservatives. Just need a little bit, like a teaspoon to have affect.

Yeah it is VERY liquidy without a foaming soap pump. It's like squirting out water.

Hello! So carrier oils are needed in this recipe, thought you might be able to add a tsp or so. The oil could easily clog up the foaming pump mechanisms though.
