Are you in love with the glamour and fun of the Golden Era belly dance?
Well, I am! I’ve been working on my upcoming course on Advanced Circle Skirts which includes this romantic, Golden Era inspired high slit circle skirt, which I’m super excited about!
And I wanted to make a simplified version of a Golden Era style belly dance belt to go with it! This version is quick and easy and pretty :)

Hi Mao...I've been following your costume making for some time now and even though I can't sew, I've gained alot of insight into bellydance costuming but this particular video is something I've been waiting to come by for a long time. Thank you for this. You're a terrific seamstress...keep up the good work.

I would definitely love to sew this but where to get those special fabric? I come from Germany and haven't yet seen something something like this 🤔

Have you joined any costume Facebook groups for your country? I found an article on Button & Sew blog for fabric stores specifically in Berlin, but she may have other posts for online stores. I'd suggest finding groups that are more local because you can usually get information on deals from people closer to you then on another continent. I know there's some AMAZING Cosplayers from Germany who are very generous in sharing information, although I typically can't read their detailed replies because they're in German and Google Translate is not exactly readable.
