I believe I got this from our local fabric store. It was just plain black and plain maroon cotton fabric.

Hi there! Great tutorial! I should have folded at the TOP of the gown (I didn't think it made a difference...it did!) But I found the tutorial really helpful. Now just to see if it fits the kid! Thanks!

For this project I used a simple black cotton woven fabric. Same for the interior.

Did you make two robe with the 3 yards or just one?

Just one. You fold the 3 yards in half to make the front and back of the robe. You'll need 3 yards of main fabric and 3 of lining.

Great question. Cost really depends on the fabric you purchase. You can keep it pretty inexpensive. I believe one robe cost me about $25-30. I used inexpensive plain cottons that I can usually find on sale for $5 a yard or less.
