I combined multiple of your DIYs to make my graduation shoes. I used your technique on the Jimmy Choo ombre glitter heels to turn tan leather pumps in rose gold- to- white glitter ombre shoes. Then, I used this technique above to attach minnie mouse ears to the back base of the pump (I used to intern at Disney and was a big reason for graduating- took me 7 years total!) I also used a technique I saw in different DIY for painting the bottoms Louboutin red, so I added that too. Thanks for posting your DIYs. I truly enjoy watching, learning, and gaining new skills, plus I love your passion and energy!

I did something like this for my daughters sneakers. I used the butterflies and flowers from a headband. But never thought to do this to my own shoes. I love this. 💕. Love saving money lol

Hi Orly I'd substitute the brad pins (called Love Pins in the UK when I was a kid) for silver/gold domed Snap Fasteners (we call these Press Studs in the UK) and just glue them on to avoid making the holes and the pins possibly rubbing the heels despite the additional covering. Your idea is still great though: )

The best part of this is that you can customize it with more than butterflies. Anything that is symmetrical will work. Like a gingerbread man or candy canes for Christmas, bats for Halloween, so many options!

I never heard of these butterfly shoes. In fact I really watched this video because I always enjoy whatever your doing! You enthusiasm is so delightful, inspiring and uplifting. I'm surprised that I really like the gold shoes, even though they are not my personal style I really love them on you and how they were styled. With that said I do like the way the black heels were styled and the add fabric across the front was a perfect touch! I love a good creative process! You never disappoint!
