You can use any lace you have to create this DIY but lace trim has scalloped edges and is already clean finished, so it's an easier option for the newbie. I used E6000 glue but hot glue would have worked fine, as well. No DIY experience needed to create this sexy little number!

YES!, the shoes with lace are cool!!! I miss wearing heels!! I lost half my right foot in an accident at work and no longer can wear high heels. For me it is devastating. But you go girl!!! Wear them proudly for me!!!

I'm sorry to hear that. I cannot wear high heels because I have back pain and plantar fasciitis in both my feet. But there are worse things that can happen to us, right? Maybe we can DIY this trend for flat slippers. The possibilities are endless my dear :)

Who says you CAN'T wear a dang heel? If you want it girl, to get it! Be loud and proud! Loud is your honesty, your creativity. You are you. Live it for you . No one else. Show your you-ness! ...Oh, and ask another person if they'd like to make one. Share the cost, fun, experience. Maybe gain a life-long friend. Who knows. World is your oyster. Make it a happy one.

Oh yea, you could totally do that. I would just look for two different size trims then. Because the scalloped edge on both sides is what I think really finished it off. So just two different sizes for each strap!

Hi Orly, I just love your DIYs. I first started recreating some of your ideas off of hallmark channel. I wanna put white lace on top of a black velvet type material heel. Can we use fabric glue or would e6000 be better?

Keown Jones I'm so glad!! But you should get in on the clear thing, they're amazing!! My favorite is the clear slide on with a nude sole and heel (not quite as cheesy as the ones that at ALL clear) but they're so great. They go with everything and just look like your floating. I'm obsessed

I'll be honest, why go to another channel when you've found THE ONE? This girl's channel is brilliant, creative and she saves us tons of money, she's super sexy, elegant and classy, has a personality to die for yet down to earth AND her styles and videos are amazing and meets my needs from a designer DIY point of view, so for me..... I won't go to another channel and it is also not right (although I don't think you meant to) but still to promote someone else's channel on this one is a no no.♥
