Great video! The timing of your video is perfect for me! I just received all of the parts I need to attempt to do this on my L6 Verado 350s. One question - how do we reset the "hours until service required counter" so it restarts the countdown with a fresh 100 hours before the next service interval?

If you have SC1000 gauges, scroll to maintenance screen then click reset and then yes that maintenance has been completed. If you have a Vessel View/Simrad Go to mercury screen Then bottom left click mercury tab Click maintenance Click engine hours Reset maintenance

Faulty/bad coil that could potentially be “washing out” the oil with fuel not being burnt because of the failed coil

I see that you didn't add any fuel to the filter and didn't prime it. Did you do it behind the scene? Will not doing it cause any issues with air pockets in the fuel system?
