DIY | Installing Carbon Fiber Canards (Air Flicks) On My 2021 C63s AMG

Here is my install of the carbon fiber canards or "air flicks." I got these authentic (wet) carbon fiber canards from eBay for $220. This is by far my most expensive cosmetic mod I have done so far. I had been eying this mod for 4 months looking around trying to find the best quality & price. Last thing I wanted to do was pay for a fake carbon fiber canard. These are custom made & not OEM, Mercedes only made gloss black canards for the CLA edition one w/ the aero kit as well as for the C63 coupe pre-facelift.

Nice...next time just use black screws...that way you will not have to use a black marker or paint the screws

That is a great idea, at the moment I didn't think of "black" self tapping screws. I just had some left over from when I helped my friend install his front lip so to avoid having to spend money on it I just went with these lol. But very good point !

Very nice...where did you order your rear carbon fiber flicks from? do you have a link?...I will be receiving my 2021 C63S coupe soon and definitely wanted to add the rear carbon fiber flicks...how much did they cost?...

I’m not sure yet about a front lip if i do it would probably be the edition 1 front splitter but I’m still weighing out the pros & cons of it. Won’t be any time soon tho if I do decide to do it

The spoiler is stock from factory but you can find it aftermarket for sure or at the dealer

I just did double sided tape on mine 😂 been holding for past 2+years but I should probably screw them in.

ugh. To each his own as they say. I like the look, but not at the cost of having ugly exposed screws.....

You can’t notice them though no one notices it unless I point it out lol but i feel your pain im not a fan of screwing anything but it was the best option and in a place that more so hidden and out of plain sight so you learn to live with it lol
