@@DG-kl4fg cat delete doesn’t have any impact to the valves they are located more towards the rear / mufflers. If you do a cat delete & add this valve control it would be 100% loud all the time.

Yes but it’s not what everyone thinks it is. It’s just an electronically controlled valve that you can “control” but it’s limited per the ECU. the valve only opens 70%, 90% of the time & 100% when you are at high revs and high speeds which is only for a few seconds or minutes. No one on civilian roads is driving like they are on a track the entire time. So what this EVM does is fully bypass the ECU and leaves the valve 100% open or 100% closed or lets you go back to stock settings and let the ECU control it. Without having to cut or change any parts it’s just a plug and play

To each their own, it helps with surface area. The OEM paddles are small. And you barely notice the stock ones cause of the silver so it looks like all CF. Ideally we all would wish that Mercedes just made it CF but this will Work

Still own it, I don’t daily drive it cause I work in construction so it’s not much but if you were to daily it you can expect to atleast spend all in between: Gas, maintenance, insurance, & misc probably around $10k+ a year

Valves only open 70% need to delete the muffler or unhook the chip/device for 100% open but then you can’t control it for when you switch to quiet. Just depends on what options you want and the restrictions that follow.

Same process but it may need a different coded module probably can’t use this module I got for the c63s

Great question. You can switch back to the stock functions so it’s totally customizable and reversible without removing the module. If you want to use the module it will be 100% on won’t be able to change it on the center console. If you turn the module off with the remote you can then use the stock buttons again either as you switch through modes or balance / powerful. Hope that answers your question.

20k miles after 2 years….. Still solid running just like new no issues so far. And that’s with actually driving it and pushing it hard time to time. Ultimately will come down to what your view of “reliable” is, a car like this probably won’t last longer than 200k before needing major repairs or replacement parts (turbos will need to be replaced at 150k miles if you’re using the car as it’s intent.

It’s not programmed it’s just briefly on before you pull off or in this case I turned it on and reversed

I have no clue 😅 in a way I don’t want to find out either but I’m sure the aftermarket cover will rip apart in similar fashion cause they have exactly identical construction nothing but glue and just plastic clips holding it together so an airbag force should still be able to release.

True I think the best combo would be w204 engine , w205 interior & w206 exterior. The new c63s 4 cylinder looks better on the outside but I can’t accept the 4 cylinder yet

That makes sense about the prongs ! And yeah there were stamped cuts in the plastic /leather so it was prepared to be torn from an airbag force
