Today's video will show you how to make your own eye pins using the traditional round nose pliers method and the One Step Looper tool by BeadSmith.
Now I have purchased the Looper tool at Hobby Lobby and the purple round nose pliers as well as my cutter at a jewelry store here in Phoenix that is no longer open but you can find these on Amazon or Ebay. The maker of these are Bead Landing and BeadSmith.
I will show you how to correctly make eye pins for jewelry using these tools and how to finish them with a bead. This video is not sponsored and is my own personal opinion. There is a tutorial on using the one step looper. You’re not twisting your right hand all the way around, then you bend it down. Perfect every time.

After putting the bead on, how much wire do you trim off before creating the second loop. I’m working with a role of 20 gauge wire and trying not to waste any.

This is great. I struggle with making the eye close enough to my project when it's done. I think maybe my pins aren't thick enough. What gauge pin do you use?
