Hey everyone! This is part ONE of TWO for my complete laundry room re build. At first I wanted to give this space a little facelift but that spiralled very quickly to a FULL gut job. In the end, im happy I took it to this depth.
DEMO/FRAMING: I tore down the wall between the unused hall way to make the space one full room. I framed in the new toilet closet and the space immediately felt like it improved. I also closed in the exterior door and sloped the floor for the drain.
PLUMBING: Tom rotated the toilet and plumbed in the dog shower to the existing drain in the floor. He also moved the water lines for the washing machine.

I went to NSCC (Nova Scotia community college) for their carpentry course about 10 years ago but well over 60% of what I learned was trial and error and just jumping in two feet over the last decade

Hahaha essentially a shower but the controls are much lower. The tiling only goes half way up the wall. We have two 100lb white dogs who CONSTANTLY love playing in mud. So it’s changed our lives
