just to tell : it's thin paracord made of nylon, don't use macrame cord, coz as it's cotton, it won't melt

In the case of non-melting cord, I would apply glue, let it dry, and then cut it close. Fabric glue would be preferable, because it will dry flexible.

How did you bring in longer threads? You should show the method for extending it.
@Myrtana13 ай бұрын
Yes, I too was wondering how to connect longer threads unless this was just a sample and she used long threads for the bracelet. I hope she will see your question. Edit: I just found one of her answers. She used threads 45 inches long.

I think they used shorter thread for the example but in the real thing they used much longer thread. I really don’t think they added extra thread on. Hope that helps

The Russian Join would probably be ideal, but make sure to cut the threads to be worked in to different lengths so there isn't a whole bunch of them sticking out at one spot

I don't understand how to start for the second leaf. Should I keep the same threads from left to left and from right to the right? How does the back look like?
@dezgrillz18332 ай бұрын
I've been struggling with this too. After CAREFUL scrutiny, I do think that the two sets of 3 threads left in the back after you connect the two sides, cross over to opposite sides in the back. That's the only way I've been able to recreate how it looks in the video. If I'm wrong, hopefully the OP will correct me!

You don't add more length, you just use longer strings, 45 inches should be enough depending what you use.
