The table top is made from two book-matched slabs and the legs are made from a third slab all from the same tree. I squared off all of the corners to give what would've been a much more rustic piece a modern edge.

Nice and simple but effectively shows of the beauty of the wood and without having to have a lot of sophisticated tools such as a thickness planner. Something everyone can have a go at. Much love from England.

Ah man, your reading my mind! I'm busy drying out 2 oak slabs and I was thinking of making a table similar to this. Now I know exactly what to do, cheers
