You’ve done some nice work, but the colors don’t compliment each other at all. You mixed warm tones with a cool gray and it’s not working. The stone planters look too bulky. Painting them white just made them look more out of place. I would have replaced them with cedar boxes, and painted the whole house a light neutral color to enhance the cedar.

This is an off topic question but, how do you work around old homes with lead paint? How do you mitigate the risk of inhaling lead.

Just wanted to add my 2¢. When I see these venta-hood microwaves installed flush with the bottom of the upper cabinets, it always irritates me. Families use tall, large pots to cook large meals so, just a venta-hood allows enough height to stir tall pots on back burners. The venta-hood microwave installed like this does not. I would much prefer the cabinet above the microwave be mounted closer to the ceiling to allow stirring of a large back burner pot. I would've installed that cabinet higher than the others. Just my preference.

Hi Mom!! The drawers look so good! I need to come hang out and build with you guys! Love watching your projects. You do a great job of providing step-by-step instructions and explaining why you choose to do things the way you do. Honestly, you should have an HGTV program. Super Pro! ;)

I love your work, but the texturing is a huge mistake. Flat walls all day.

People keep saying that he would have been better off by pouring a new slab; what if pouring a new slab isn't within your budget? If your car breaks down, you'd probably be better off just buying a new car, right?

Even though the shutters are not "functional," to me they act like eyeliner on a woman, perfectly framing the "eyes" of the house: the windows! A nice upgrade to the look of the house for a relatively small cost!

A year late ... oh well 🤷♀️I like the cabinets, and I like the flooring. I like the peel and stick wallpaper and that he used two different patterns. His choices make it look a bit like someone's home when everything isn't matchy-matchy because most people can't afford to follow the trends. He said during the first video that he's going to live in it while he flips a house. It will be just fine for that. He isn't designing a trendy RV, all gray with white shaker cabinets, fortuneately. Good job!

You should have put some insulation in those walls, from personal experience from 5 years of living in one, the walls sweat and your wood will get wet.

I like how you made the templates of the curves and all so you could make the real wall coverings, that was smart, I'm gonna have to do that this time around... Building in a bus is hard and easy depending how you look at it.

I would only use a shark bite in a temporary situation, they have seals in them and they will degrade over time and leak, can't beat the crimp on style stuff, though I agree it's hard in some spots and my shoulder hates it, but they don't leak if you get em straight. Not trying to sound rude, just helpful especially for other readers.
@PatrickBaptist2 күн бұрын
You really should have pulled that rubber floor up and then the ply wood that is under it, it's always rotten and holding moisture in. Im taking my own bus to RV conversion apart and doing just that.

Did you sand the exisitng textured paint before applying the compound? or just clean the wall and put the compound over it? Because my textured paint wall has glossy finish on it, I'm afraid the compound can not grab onto it.

Wow! Went to a tile store today and I'm still getting over the sticker shock! We have a 60's era condo to flip and the bathroom is a crime scene.😆Your suggestions and demos could not be more timely. Would never have considered painting the sheet tile in our tub surround, but the results you achieved here (and the savings!) have made me a believer. Learned so much. I'm you new sub!

I’m redoing mine. I used a 4” insulated flex duct but it’s just as loud on low as it is on high. I’m wondering about others set ups and experiences… Do those levels sound different? If so my problem might be with the smaller flow area
