Whatever your style, use this simple tutorial to make curtains for your home. My curtains have an Antrhopolgy vibe which makes me feel like I saved hundreds of dollars with this DIY. No sew drop cloth curtains are the way to go.

If you pre-soak your fabric (so it’s wet before you put it in the dye bath) it will help get a more even dye.

ALWAYS PREWASH. It helps the dye 'take' and prevents any uneven stretching or shrinking down the road.

Any time color is used always wear glove for protection from dying your hands & protection from getting chemicals in your blood stream

Your curtains came out nice . Question can you post the exact formulation you used? I already ordered the 3 colors you used but when I go on ritdye.com the formulation for burnt orange is tangerine, apple green ,& sunshine orange . They must of changed the formulation .

Hey, hopefully Im not too late. I believe I used all of my pink color and about a 1/4 of my other two. Sorry the colors are wonky online. You can mix as you go and test your color on a sample piece before committing. Just a tip, if you are hoping for a dark color let you fabric soak in the dye for a long time. The longer, the darker.

Hmm. I'm not sure exactly, but the larger ones are about one inch, and the smaller are 1/2 inch.

I'm assuming you used a whole bottle of Fushia, 1/4 bottle of Lemon yellow and 1/4 bottle of Tangerine for each 9 X 12 curtain, Correct?

Yes. I believe you can get three panels this size from one 9x11 drop cloth.

How did you fasten the tassels to the curtain? Did you glue those as well?

Yes I glued them. You could sew them on or attach with safety pins so they could be removed for washing.
