DIY lowering C4 corvette 2 inches

3 ай бұрынLowering the vette 2inches by shaving the front rubbers and installing 10inch rear bolts. New shocks went on while I was in there replacing the original bilstein shocks

I’m assuming it’s sitting lower now aye? Sometimes have to drive around for abit let the car settle… any updates? Because my 1992 c4 sits lower then this and its stock, with good shocks

The shock shafts have flart spots you need to hold while you loosen that nut...

Yes thank goodness it dropped about 1.5 inches and sits perfectly now.

@eflinegarage you just waited for it to settle? I put the 1 inch bolts on one side to see the comparison and I see no difference...

I got them from JEGS believe it or not. I believe they are 12 rears, and 10 front. 17’s

Not a fan of anything more than 18” on the C4. Personally the proportions are not right after 18. But that’s me
